I enjoyed Miss Austen Regrets with this biopic production of the life of Jane Austen. Jane Austen (Olivia Williams) plays a refreshing character with witty dialogue and intelligence. I came across an Illustrated version of Elizabeth Gaskell’s Cranford, along with the full text version . They are thoroughly enjoyable! There was also a link to the colour illustrations of Cranford here (beware of pop-ups), they are exquisite.
